Why use LenzSaver?
After spending 25 years working on aircraft, and being awarded 3 patents all dealing with the repair and removal of scratches from jet aircraft windows the inventor of LenzSaver experienced this headlight problem first hand and decided to use his expertise to solve the problem. He studied the manufacturing process of headlights, viewed facilities talked to manufactures and researched coatings and the annealing process. He viewed first hand the subsequent degradation that plagues virtually every manufacturer in this industry He then developed and Patented the lenzSaver process and the LenzSaver restoration process kit that removes the discolored layer, repairs the lens back to the original factory like optical clarity and brilliance and then anneals a new UV protective coating that will resist further damage. It is this three step process that differentiates LenzSaver from any and all other products available.
Why do headlight lenses get cloudy/yellow?
Most car manufacturers now use plastic lenses, these plastic lenses have lots of advantages but the major disadvantage is that the surface of the lens will discolor and become hazy. This discoloration and haziness is caused by the environment (exposure to sunlight, chemicals used in washing, exhaust fumes, etc) and is unavoidable. With LenzSaver the original clarity can be restored.
Why use LenzSaver over other products?
All other kits are simply sandpaper and or rubbing compound with a wax to "protect" your lenses but without the repair and the protective coating (that LenzSaverpatented) the lens will continue to degrade to a point where the lens can no longer be repaired and must be replaced ($250 and up per headlight plus labor). The coat of wax that most kits offer will not provide the protection required.
LenzSaver is pure science The LenzSaver polish is made in a special High Tech Vacuum Emulsifying mixer It is blended in a vacuum environment containing only nitrogen which bonds all the particles in such a way that they homogenize into a blend. They remain in this environment as the mixture is injected with more nitrogen into a foil pack, all of the components in our process are made in this manner Lenzsaver is the only product that will actually work and give you long lasting results. The mixture doesn't activate until the foil pack is opened exposing the mixture to oxygen for the first time which acts as a catalyst it then activates and allows you to polish your lenses to near the original factory brilliance and optical clarity At this point you apply the UV protective coating and it anneals to your headlight it dries crystal clear in about five minutes and you are good to go.
How hard is the LenzSaver kit to use?
Almost anyone who has a cordless drill, that takes a few minutes to read the simple instructions is well qualified to do this restoration. It requires about ten minutes to remove the original coating and re polish the lens, with the pads and 2 foil packed polishes that are in the kit and clean up the car then about five minutes to anneal the uv protective coating. The application of a new uv protective coating, is done with the third foil pack and applicator that are in the kit. A few minutes in a dust free environment is required for the coating to dry and your on your way safely down the road.
What is safety and headlight degradation?
When the light emitted by the headlight is reduced by as much as 80% not only can the driver not see as well as needed for safety, but other driver cannot see the car. Reaction times of the driver are affected by how much and how clearly they can see hazards around them.
How long will the LenzSaver kit last?
Lenzsaver is guaranteed for one year, but it will at least as long as the original finish. The length of time it will remain clear will depend a lot on where the car is stored on a regular basis, parked in a garage it will last longer than exposed to the elements.
